Claiming your artist page.

• Profile. Your bio, photos, links to your socials and streaming pages, your show calendar.
• EPK. An auto-generated press page at /a/<slug>/press that doubles as a media kit — bookers and journalists can hand the URL around or download a PDF.
• Show feed. Every event a promoter creates with you on the lineup auto-appears on your calendar. Once you claim the page, you can also add shows yourself, hide specific listings, and approve / decline lineup tags.

   Find your artist page. Search by name at /a (the artist directory). The typeahead pulls from Spotify, so you should see your real profile pop up with the canonical artist image and ID. We surface the matching out4 page (if one exists) or offer to create one on the fly using the Spotify metadata.

   Open your page and tap Claim this artist — the claim affordance lives on the unclaimed artist page itself.

   Verify. We ask you to log in to Spotify briefly to confirm ownership of the artist profile. This is a one-time step; we don't store your Spotify credentials, just confirm the artist ID match.

   Approved. The page becomes claimed immediately, the Verified flag flips on, and the Studio unlocks for editing.

From the unclaimed artist page, tap I'm the artist (manual). You'll get a form similar to the venue / restaurant claim form:

• Your relationship to the artist — Self, management, label. (Self is the simplest path.)
• Proof of identity — a Bandcamp / SoundCloud / Apple Music / YouTube profile that you can demonstrate ownership of through a one-time challenge (e.g. paste a verification code into your bio for 24 hours).
• Contact info — email + phone for the follow-up if our reviewer needs it.

The flag means "a human at out4 (or, in the Spotify-link case, Spotify's own ownership proof) has confirmed this is the real artist." Promoters use it to decide whether a lineup tag is trustworthy; fans use it as a tie-breaker between two similarly-named artists.

• Edit the page — Photos, bio (up to 1500 words), genre tags, location, the Booking link.

• Approve lineup tags — When a promoter creates an event with you on the lineup, you get a notification. You can approve, hide, or decline the tag. Declining removes you from the lineup but doesn't affect the event.
• Add your own shows — Tour dates that aren't on out4 yet? Add them as external listings linking out to your tour page or ticketing site.
• Replay across years — Once your account has history, you'll get an auto-generated Replay (see Replay).
