Refund Policy

out4 is committed to a fair and transparent refund process. Since out4 is a marketplace connecting event organizers with attendees, refund policies may vary by event. Below is our general refund framework.

1. Organizer-Set Refund Policies

Each event organizer sets their own refund policy, displayed on the event page at time of purchase. Before buying a ticket, please review the refund terms for that specific event. Some organizers offer full refunds up to a certain date, partial refunds, or no-refund policies.

Important: out4 enforces a universal rule: refunds are not available within 24 hours of the event start time, regardless of the organizer's stated policy. This cutoff is applied automatically and cannot be overridden.

2. Cancelled Events

If an event is cancelled by the organizer, all ticket holders will receive an automatic full refund to their original payment method. No action is required on your part. You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for a ticket purchase:

  1. Log in to your out4 account.
  2. Go to your tickets and select the order you want to request a refund for.
  3. Click "Request Refund" and provide a reason.
  4. The event organizer will review your request based on their refund policy.

4. Refund Processing
  • Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method (credit card, debit card, etc.).
  • Refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.
  • out4 does not charge any additional fees for processing refunds.
  • Stripe processing fees may or may not be refunded depending on the circumstances and timing of the refund.
5. Postponed or Rescheduled Events

If an event is postponed or rescheduled, your tickets will typically remain valid for the new date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, you may request a refund subject to the organizer's refund policy. Organizers are encouraged to offer refunds for significant date or venue changes.

6. Free Events

Free event registrations can be cancelled at any time through your account. Since no payment was made, no refund is necessary.

7. Disputes

If you believe a refund was unfairly denied, please contact us at support@out4.events. We will review the situation and work with the event organizer to reach a fair resolution.

Please note: Filing a chargeback with your card issuer instead of requesting a refund through out4 may result in processing fees and account restrictions. We strongly encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve the issue directly.
