Replay.
Replay is your year on out4 — every show, every meetup, every favorite artist surfaced in one annual recap. Auto-generated every December and quietly added to your profile. Shareable if you want it to be, private if you don't.
Updated May 16, 2026
What
Your year, summarized.
Lives at /u/<handle>/replay/<year>. Renders as a sequence of cards — your top venue, top artists, total shows attended, total minutes of music seen live, meetup count, and a few oddly-specific stats we found amusing.
It's designed to be share-card-friendly. Every card has a download / share affordance so you can post the highlight to Instagram Stories or send it to a friend. The full page works as a standalone visual artifact — premium, ambient, the kind of thing you'd screenshot.
Note
When
December every year.
The first Replay drops on a fixed date in December. Earlier years are computed retroactively if you have qualifying activity.
The current-year Replay is hidden until generation day — it would be a bummer to peek at January's data in March. Once it's live, you can revisit any past year via the year picker on the Replay tab of your profile.
What counts toward Replay
Anything that has a date and an attendance signal: tickets you bought, free events you marked attending, meetups you joined. We don't count saved-but-didn't-go events because that would inflate the numbers and undercut the point.
Sections
What you'll find inside.
A non-exhaustive list. We tweak the card lineup most years to keep it fresh.
- Cover card — Your year framed by a stat or a superlative ("33 shows. 12 new venues. Your year, on out4.").
- Top venue — Where you spent the most nights.
- Top artists — Top 5 ranked by show count, then secondary signals.
- Genre breakdown — A small pie / bar of the genres you went to. Surprising for a lot of people.
- First show / last show — Bookends. Calendar- framed.
- Meetup count — How many meetups you joined, how many you hosted.
- "Discovery" — A previously-unknown artist or venue you went to for the first time. Sourced from the ones with the most repeat visits afterwards — i.e. who you actually fell in love with.
Tip
Privacy
Who sees your Replay.
Default-private; opt-in to share.
- Default — Only you can see your Replay. Even your followers don't see it on your profile until you flip the switch.
- Friends — People you follow back can see your Replay. Most users land here.
- Public — Anyone with the URL can see it. Useful if you want to post a link on Twitter / Instagram.
Note
History
The Wrapped → Replay rename.
If you have a saved link to /u/<handle>/wrapped/<year>, it still works.
We launched the feature as "Wrapped". After Spotify's long-standing Wrapped became the dominant association for that word, we renamed our feature to Replay to avoid confusion (and frankly, to be more honest — Spotify owns that brand-language mental space).
The old URLs ( /u/<handle>/wrapped/<year>) still work — they 301-redirect to the new Replay URL. Old saved links, social shares, and email mentions all keep working without action from you.
