Promoting your event.

Publishing an event is step one. The next 80% of the work is getting it in front of the right humans. Share cards, embeds, badges, and the /vibes gallery are the surfaces we've built for that.

Share cards

The image that travels with your link.

When someone pastes your event URL into Instagram, iMessage, X, Discord, or a Notion doc, that platform pulls a preview image and a title. The share card is that image.

Every event gets an auto-generated share card based on the event's vibe (the one you picked in step 6 of the wizard). The card is composed from your event title, date, venue, lineup, and the cover image — laid out per the vibe's template.

Where to find the share card

/share-card/event/<slug> — the canonical share-card URL. Right-click → Save image to get a PNG you can post manually. The same URL is what Instagram, X, and iMessage scrape for previews.

When the card refreshes

On every edit to the event. Caches on third-party scrapers (Facebook, X) can take up to 24h to refresh, so if you change the cover image and the preview still looks old, that's them, not us. Facebook has a debugger tool you can paste your link into to force a refresh.

Studio

Per-event customization beyond the wizard.

The Studio is where you go after publishing to fine-tune the vibe, palette, typography, and share-card layout.

    Open /studio/event/<slug> (or from your event management page, tap Customize).

    Pick a vibe from the gallery — each one rerenders the share-card and the public event page's look. Click any vibe to preview before committing.
  3. 3
    Use the Fine tuning tab to override palette (primary, accent, surface), typography (display + body fonts), and corner radius. The cross-surface preview shows what your event page, share card, and ticket all look like with the current overrides applied.

    Save. Changes go live immediately. Your existing event URL now serves the new look; new share-card scrapes pick up the update on their next crawl.

Note

Vibes scale with your tier
The free tier offers a curated selection of vibes. Pro subscribers see the full library plus per-vibe ornaments (signature kickers, dividers, badges) that the free vibes don't expose. The studio shows a small lock chip on Pro- only vibes.

Embeds

Drop your event on another site.

Want the event card on your band site, your venue's WordPress, or your Linktree? We ship a copy-pasteable embed snippet.

From the event's management page, the Share menu has an Embed option. It generates an <iframe> snippet pointing at /embed/event/<slug> — a chrome-stripped version of the event card that fits in a 400 × 600 px box.

The embed renders the same vibe and overrides as the public page, so it stays consistent with your other surfaces.

Tip

The embed includes a small "Powered by out4" badge in the corner. If you're a Pro subscriber, you can hide it from the Vibe Studio's fine-tuning tab.

Badge

The made-with-out4 badge.

A small SVG you can drop on your own marketing site so visitors know where the tickets go through.

The badge is hosted at /made-with-out4.svg and is free to use anywhere. We recommend linking it to out4.events so a visitor who taps it lands on our home page. There's no tracking on the badge — it's just an SVG.

Note

Why have one at all
Two reasons. First, it's a trust signal — visitors know their card data goes through Stripe, not some random checkout form. Second, it's a quiet shout-out to a small, ad-free platform that doesn't take a cut of your ticket revenue. Both help us, both help you.

Vibes

/vibes — our public gallery.

The /vibes page is our marketing landing — visitors can browse the entire vibe library, see real events styled in each, and start a free trial from the gallery.

It's the easiest page to send to a fellow promoter who asked "what does out4 actually look like?" — every vibe in the library is shown with a real or representative event, so they can scroll for a minute and immediately get the aesthetic range.
